On the afternoon of January 15, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Legal Education and Talent Training Alliance was formally established in the University of Macau.
The alliance consists of 14 universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including 8 universities from Guangdong Province (Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou University and Shenzhen University) and 3 universities from Hong Kong SAR( the University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong), as well as 3 universities from Macao SAR(the University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, and Macau City University). Based on the principles of voluntary participation, complementary advantages, equal cooperation and mutual benefit, the alliance is a multi-party discussion and coordination organization established by the above universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In accordance with the "One Country, Two Systems" doctrine and the needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the goals of the alliance are to promote the legal education exchanges and talent training cooperation and serve the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area .
