Mr. Zou Pingxue is the director of the Shenzhen University Center for Basic Laws of Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, Shenzhen University Law School professor, the doctoral supervisor of Wuhan University and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the chief expert of the NSFC Major Project, the Shenzhen National Leading Talent, the Shenzhen “Pengcheng Scholar” Distinguished Professor, the Hong Kong University Law School “Leslie Wright” visiting scholar and the United States Congress “International Visiting Scholar”. He published four monographs on constitution and basic law and is the editor/participating editor of nine and fourteen books respectively. He has published over 170 articles and 30 of which were reprinted. Professor Zou also hosted 19 national and provincial research projects and received over 40 research awards, including the second prize of the Ministry of Education “Award of Scientific Research in Higher Education Institutions (Social Sciences)”. He holds concurrent posts at a number of institutions, including the member and senior researcher of the Hong Kong and Macao Research Institute Academic Committee of the State Council Development Research Center, the executive member of the board of the China Constitutional Law Research Association and the director of the Two Straits and Hong Kong Macao Legal Research Professional Committee.
