Policy Consultative Services:Submitting more than 200 advisory and political proposals to national ministries, provincial and municipal authorities.
Research projects:Professor Songchaired two projects entrusted by the Committee for the Basic Law of Hong Kong and Macao of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and three projects entrusted by the National Association for the Study of Hong Kong and Macao; as a sub-topic leader, she participated in one major research project on philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education and one major project of the National Social Science Foundation.
Academic Outputs:Professor Song published five monographs, more than 30 papers in the journal Hong Kong and Macau Studies, sponsored by the Hong Kong and Macau Research Institute of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, and Hong Kong and Macau Studies, sponsored by the Hong Kong and Macau Research Institute of the Development Research Centre of the State Council. Published about 3,000 commentaries on Hong Kong issues in Hong Kong.
Teaching:Lectures on the wisdom of pre-Qin Chinese culture (Politics and Law), thematic studies on Hong Kong, and introduction to the Hong Kong Basic Law cases.
